Welcome to Wings n Treads

I started Wings n Treads out of a need for a local Hobby Store for our IPMS Club when our local store went out of buinsess and the closest store is more than 70 miles away.

Since starting I have traveled to many shows in many areas and have contuined to grow the store. I am commited to bringing you quality products and accessories at the best possible price that I possibly can.

FAQ

Why do you charge a flat fee for shipping even if I order 1 item?

A: Due to my size I don't qualify for major shipping discounts and in most cases I lose money on shipping. I set up a standard shipping fee that lets me make up some of my expense and allows me to keep my prices lower. The flat fee is $8 for orders under $150 and free for orders over $150.

I live outside the US how can we determine shippibg costs?

A: If you are an international customer please email me so I can findout how much shipping will be. Also I need to know if your country has any tariffs or import laws that may require you to pay taxes and the best work around.

Why are all boxes open?

A: Most of my products are shipped from overseas and either are not wrapped or require me to put together the boxes. Since it will cost me additional money to wrap these once I get them I have decided not to and save you the extra expense. The kits are still new and the parts are as they were when I recived them.

You don't carry the items I want?

A: Be paitent and let me know what types of items you would like me to carry. As I grow I will add new items as I see a demand for them. If I don't hear from you I don't know what you want. The current list of items is effected very heavily by my current customers.

Return Policy

We will accect returns of products if they are as sold. IE all plastic bags sealed return must all have all plastic bags sealed. For a return please contacct us about the item within 30 business days of the purchase.

Missing parts. If for some reason the kit has missing parts please contact us. We will contact the vendor to find out how to obtain missing or broken parts and either get them for you or get you the info. Most companies will replace broken parts but need photo evidence that you are building the kit. Some companies like Tamiya will ask you to purchase the part sprue from them. The policies vary from company to company
